21st Century Dentistry Feels Great
At Woodhill Family Dental, our dentists maintain a modern approach to dentistry while continuing to deliver personalized, patient-focused service and care. With the help of intraoral cameras, digital X-rays, and an iTero digital impression system, Dr. Horton and Dr. Jack can better explain concepts and concerns as well as increase comfort and ensure optimal results.
Intraoral Camera

Our intraoral camera removes the barrier that once existed between patients and dentists. Instead of Dr. Jack or Dr. Horton trying to explain what it is they see, we can show you in real time what is happening inside your mouth. A chairside monitor highlights your teeth and gums as we move the handheld device to display any concerning areas. This allows for greater patient education and higher-resolution imaging to identify the earliest signs of decay.
Digital X-Rays

Our dentists at Woodhill Family Dentistry have used X-rays to visualize the area beneath the gumline for decades. Now that technology is more advanced, we have traded in traditional radiographs for digital ones – those that emit up to 80% less radiation. The high-resolution imaging is visible in seconds, allowing you and one of our dentists to see what might be happening in parts of your mouth unseen by the naked eye.
iTero Digital Impression System

When you need a dental crown, custom veneers, a dental bridge, or any other type of restoration, our iTero digital impression system can make the process easier and less messy. Instead of cold dental putty that often causes a gag reflex, our team uses a handheld scanner to take pictures of your mouth and produce a 3D model. In less time than traditional impressions, this device can replicate your smile and be sent to lab technicians so they can create accurate, comfortable restorations.
